Okay a customer got a phone through telesales, and brought it in screaming and cussing, that we specifically sold him a defective phone, it literally took me ten minutes of coddling him, for him to settle down to explain his issue. His phone wouldn't power on. I take off the battery plate and the battery is still in the plastic bag it came in. I asked him if he put in the battery. In which angrily he retorted yes. I explained you have to take the battery out of the bag. He still angrily retorted that they should explain this.

MORON!

i cant wait for him to call in to Tech Support and complain about how 'rude' you were to him and how you 'talked down to him' for not being as smart as you are....
customers can be serious douches sometimes.....

These are the same morons who don't know to take frozen pizzas out of the box. They just put it in the microwave or oven and expect wonderful things.

Every industry has it. I worked in the horticultural industry and one could never guess (unless you were in the industry) how many people were surprised as hell that you have to water a plant to get it to survive.

Still, I'm impressed you kept your cool as much as you did. I may not have been quite a chipper! 😛

Oh, my GOD, you have to take the battery OUT of the bag. I wonder if this is the reason why none of MY phones have been working??? 😳
