I currently have the sanyo 7500 and I love it. I am going to get a new phone in about a month what do you all think I should get? I really like the M610, what do you all think?
...
Depends...looks like a nice new phone with a plethora of features.
The only thing that would hold me back was if I went to places where my current Sprint phone went into Analog Roaming. (The majority of Sprint phones are Tri-Mode) This is because of the fact that this phone is only Dual-Band and would not support the analog.
...
solid point! But one mistake, he said he is using the Sanyo 7500 currently, which doesn't have analog and is dual band itself.
IMHO anyone that has a tri-band phone, the few times if ever you see analog roam you most likely will not even hardly be able to use your phone. All analog towers are going away, possibly 07, but guaranteed 2008. So if your getting a phone on a two year contract and rule some out b/c they don't have analog, you may be missing out on a better option for a phone for no reason.
If you like Sanyo, the 8400 is an upgrade from that one. But if your looking for a thin phone, the M610 wouldn't be a bad choice, but a lot of us corporate sprint stores that have sold Samsung EVDO thin-line phones have a few concerns. My ...

I bet to differ. The GSM version might've been nice. Been nothing but problems with the CDMA V3M since it's launch. You're not fixing these phones, only selling them.
So you sir...need to deal with it. The new V3M is garbage.
...
I felt that the razr has slow menu system. Do you think it does?

Absolutely. It's not a good phone...yet. A few software releases later and it will be. It was rushed for the holiday season.
I'd go with the new Samsung M500 (excellent, solid phone) or something trusty like a Sanyo.
...
RAZR picks up great, menu runs decent, pulling up thumbnails of video is sluggies in my opinion, it is yet to powercycle on me. V3c had problems. the v3m has been fairly solid and I currently have 4. No problems as of yet, great reception, better than the Sanyo 2300 (only Sanyo I have had a chance to try side by side in a poor reception area)
...
Yeah, I've been using the m500 since before launch and I LOVE it. No problems and great performance. (and much better battery life than the a900) Check out my review of the m500 on phonescoop if you want.

I have the 8400, and my wife just got the red razor last month. I can tell you for a fact that the sprint razor sucks. the sanyo beats it for RF AND Battery life. It has a 320x240 display, the razor display sucks. removing the memory card requires you to power down and remove the battery and it's cover. Speakerphone and headset sucks. You can't customize the outer display background. No flash on the camera. Oh and the interface is So SLOW.. Oh yeah, everyone has a razor, you do want to be an individual right?
About the only think the razor has over the sanyo is the formfactor/looks, animated desktop, record ringers from the phone, and independent voice dialing.
I wouldn't recommend the razor to anyone though. Not when Sanyo makes su...
