Forsee doesn't disagree that Sprint dropped the ball

RESTON, Va. — "I used to be 6-5," quips Sprint (S) CEO Gary Forsee, trying to muster a smile. "I shrank a few inches over the past year."

Forsee hasn't actually lost any height off his 6-foot-2 frame, but he is clearly feeling pressed.

Since his Sprint-Nextel merger closed a year ago, Forsee, 56, has been struggling with a riptide of technical, financial, operational and cultural problems. This perfect storm, as he calls it, has been calamitous for the combined Sprint Nextel.

53 million is not that bad. And when they get their entire network rev a by next years end. I think you will see them surpass even the mighty verizon. Oh did I just type that. They are investing allot of money into both networks. Lets talk at the end of next year!
