Does the M1 have the snap feature or not?

just get it why keep asking the same question. If it doesn't snap like you want it to return it if its that big of a deal to you! I prefer it to be quiet myself as if I am in a meeting I don't want a loud snap when I open or close my phone. Maybe you don't have to worry about meetings?
