Is this true?

I have heard several time that Sprint customer service is 90% outsourced. Please tell me this isn't true.

I'm feeling possessed......by Cingular!

Can someone perform an exorcism?!
Hey everyone! I feel I need help. I've been a happy Sprint customer for about 7 yrs now. Like many other people's posts I've read...Sprint's phone lineup has been a rather sore topic for me for about the last year or so. Although they've made some recent improvements...it's just not what it used to be. I feel there was a time when the Sprint phone selection was the envy of the other carriers & their customers. However, it seems things have changed. I'm certain there are many who will leap to defend their beloved Sprint but, please understand...I'm not a Sprint hater. I'm simply a long time customer who has grown dissatisfied. I'm still a big fan of their plan pricing, their coverage is decent, and all they ...

I have come up with some new slogans for Sprint.

I think Sprint needs a new and better slogan. "Yes You Can" was somewhat ambigous, and "Power Up" is not good either, it looks like they formed a new slogan in a hurry.

Here are two ideas I came up with:

"Advanced Communications Moving Forward!"

"Sprint: The Wireless of the Future."

Can I do this?

Hey guys and gals,

I have broke several phones in the last several months. I want to buy an unlocked phone because of the prices. Will Sprint let me buy, say, an unlocked pebble or razor?

Thanks

Leave Sprint for T-Mobile (DASH)?

Where to start!

1) I have been with Sprint for 6 years through good and bad. I have no quams with coverage and in-store support has gone way up since the merger. Phone support is always top-notch.

2) I need a Smart Phone and I fell in love with THE DASH! I have to have it. It does everything I need. I think..... does anyone have any comments about it. Sprints phones selection seems weak.

3) I am concerned about T-Mobiles customer service, not that I have heard anything bad, I just havent heard anything and Sprint has been fine lately.

4)T-Mobiles plans seem better (much better).

5)How is coverage?

6)The Caveat ..... How can I get out of my contract?

Goodbye Sanyo

I just received an update notification on my phone that read "Sanyo Electric Co. plans to either spin off or sell it's cell phone operations." I would definitely hate to see the Sanyo brand leave Sprint. I personally feel Sanyo is the better manufacture of CDMA (Sprint). Sanyo's has had 3 bad years. Too bad Nokia backed out to possibly save Sanyo.

Data Transfer Speed?

Does anyone know if there is any difference in speed between an PCI, PCI Express or USB air card? I am trying to help my friend buy a connection card and we are trying to figure out if there is any advantage to getting a PCI card instead of waiting for the USB card. If anyone knows please post (even if it's just speculation!). Thanks all!

Suggestions for a new phone

I currently have a Samsung VGA 1000. The phone has worked well for me, but now is getting old and fragile. I like the call quality and the ease of use. I don't like the long boot-up and frequently finding it powered itself off. I want a camera phone with bluetooth, of which there are several. Which one is best?

SBA picks up 69 towers from SunCom
By Joni Morse
Nov 14, 2006
BOCA RATON, Fla.—SBA Communications Corp. struck an agreement with regional wireless carrier SunCom Holdings Inc. to buy 69 towers located throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and eastern Tennessee. The deal is worth $18 million.
SBA’s deal with SunCom spells the end of the operator’s U.S. presence in the tower industry. SunCom still owns sites in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Raymond James & Associates analyst Ric Prentiss commented that the SunCom towers “are typical of what SBAC is looking for in towers, young towers with growth potential.”

SBA’s stock was up 16 cents to $27.76 per share following the news.

Yesterday, SBA Communications got rave ...
