Corporate Employee Info

Is there anyone out there can tell me a bit about the commission structure for corporate area employees? With Sprint buying out the affiliates, I was wondering what changes would be coming our way. Thanks

Sprint coverage question

I'm with Verizon now but I'm thinking about switching to Sprint since I like Sprint's phone (better selection and more functionality) but I'm worried about Sprint's system coverage. I checked they're coverage maps for the areas I spent time in (NC and KY) but I spent a good deal of time away from major cities and highways where it look s like coverage may be sparse or that I may be roaming. Can anyone verify this is accurate or not?

Thanks,
Mark O.

Two phones, one number?

I have a Treo 650, but the reception is awful in my house, maybe 1 bar if I'm lucky. My girlfriend has an older Sanyo SCP-4900 which has full bars and reception and call quality is amazing.

Can I buy a used SCP-4900 on eBay and have Sprint set it up so both phones are tied to the same number and not incur any additional line charges? That way I can use the Sanyo at home.

TIA.

EV-DO and ReadyLink

Has anyone tried the ReadyLink between two Sanyo 9000s? The speed, for a ip-based PTT solution, is incredible. The connect was only marginally slower than Nextel and once connected, was almost instantaneous.

Definitely beats Cingular's initial 7 seconds initial connect! 🤣 (And yes, I tried it)

Sanyo 9000 Discontinued

I am a little upset cause I wanted to buy the Sanyo 9000 and the representative at Sprint just called me and told me that he got an e-mail today, telling him to let all his customers to know that the Sanyo 9000 was being discontinued.

Sanyo did this with the 5600, why do they keep discontinuing there phones, right after they come out?

Terrmination Fee to switch

I posted this in the Nextel forum as well. Maybe someone can help.

Sorry if this has been answered a million times, but I need some clarification. I am currently a Nextel customer that came on before the merger. I live in Columbia, SC and want to switch to Sprint(PCS?). I called the customer service # at both companies and received conflicting answers regarding termination of my contract. One person at both said No problem, no fee,no activation, just pick out the phone you want and come (or go) over. Another person said I lived in a Sprint Affiliate market that operated much like Nextel Partners did, so I would in turn have to pay a fee.

I know you guys can give me some guidance. What's the deal? Who is right? Thanks! 🙂

Content Help Please - Was I mislead?

Hi, I'm new to these forums as a poster, but I have been reading them for some time now. I used this site alot to help me determine what phone/service I wanted. So before I ask my questions, let me say thanks.

I have a few questions concerning my phone and how things work for Sprint.

I purchased a LG535 phone recently and while I had the free Vision Plus service, decided to play around with it some so that I could see how it works. I have never really intended on keeping it past the first free month because I do not think I would really use/need it all that much.

I decided to try to download a game to see how that works, because I figured I might do that in the future, and wanted to see how it works.

After having downloaded an...

Sprint Tightens the Noose

Sprint recently took action that forces me (and other users) to pay for features that were available at no additional cost at the time certain products and services were originally purchased.

My conclusion is that for this reason you should refrain from purchasing products and services from Sprint because they will strive to exercise their option to modify their services so as to increase your costs wherever possible.

In my case I purchased a Sanyo MM-5600 phone and a couple of others for use on the family plan in March of 2005

I selected Sprint and the 5600 after I tested that its browser worked to read my office e-mail though its web based interface. This stopped working in mid-November of 2005. After reaching someone at Sprint ...

Is Sprint making wireless better?

What is everyone's thoughts about if Sprint is leading other carriers in their claims of having the most advanced network? It's true that the all-PCS coverage does lack in some areas and it seems like a lot of people differ in opinions about "all-digital."
Putting coverage availability and all-digital claims aside, it seems like Sprint has easily led all carriers in the having the best phones, take Sanyo for example, it's only available for Sprint and makes quite impressive phones. But a big question is whether Sprint has great phones AND a great network OR if it is just about the phones themselves.
Can Sprint customers truly say there is clarity you can see and hear?
Thanks for the input about the free and clear plans on the thread that ...

$125 deposit

I have a really interesting question. If the $125 deposit is refundable, do they credit it to your final bill if you cancel service before the contract ends??? If not, what happens to that $125 you spent on getting an account. Is is dead money to you and %125 profit for them?

I need help - trying to decide between Samsung MM-A900 & Samsung MM-A940

The Dictation On the A900 sounds very interesting , but I'd like to know more? Can I dictate a list and read it later? Can I dictate a calender entry?

Do they both have Music that plays through the bluetooth headsets???

Is there a direct speaker button? (I dislike those that you have to hit one button to talk and another to change to speaker)

Any other comparisions would be appreciated??

Thanks!
