Where is the love for existing customers!
I got put through to a supervisor so I could complain some more, and they offered me 750 daytime with 8pm nights for $40, but I had to do a 1 year contract. They say it is a 'special' deal for existing customers. Now, that's a decent deal, but I'm still not happy about contracting again.

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ - News) has no imminent plans to bid for Sprint Corp. (NYSE:FON - News), people familiar with the situation said on Tuesday, lifting a potential obstacle to Sprint's bid for Nextel Communications Inc. (NasdaqNM:NXTL - News).

Separately, Britain's Vodafone Group Plc (London:VOD.L - News) denied it was in talks with Verizon, its wireless joint venture partner, about any offer for Sprint.

WASHINGTON - Shares of Sprint Corp. and Nextel Communications Inc. rose Thursday after The Wall Street Journal reported rising Wall Street speculation that the two companies could merge.

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Sprint Corp. (FON) (PCS) and Nextel Communications (NXTL) have reportedly reached a $35 billion deal that would be a merger of two telecom giants. The Wall Street Journal reported Friday afternoon that the two companies have reached a "tentative agreement" for a merger of equals. Earlier, financial news channel CNBC reported that Sprint would exchange 1.3 of its shares for each share of Nextel. The deal, which includes cash, would be worth $35 billion, CNBC said.
