TP2 AVAILABILITY

Is this phone available in Spring stores? Or do you have to order is on line like with Vz? I'd love to actually see one before deciding to buy it.

Samsung Momentand Data Plan

Hi there, can anyone tellme if I have a Moment with an everything family data plan, and have received the rebate is it possible to downgrade to a data premier add on or even a data pro pack add on or any cheap data plan? Is it even possible to get the data stopped all together and just use it as a regular phone? I don't use the navigation and internet as I can use the wifi from home. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I need tosave some money on the monthly bill as unemployment is here.

Serious Design Flaw on 8530 - Pics Included

Ok everyone, so here are pics of my actual phone, just 5 days old. Pay attention to the border between the keyboard and the function buttons. The screen is completely lifting off. The glue holding the screen down has failed.

Now, what is the reason? Is it because there is additional stress on the adhesive because the buttons are being pressed and the screen flexes? If so, that is a serious design flaw that will occur again and again as the adhesive weakens every time a navigation button is pressed.

You should be able to see the light coming out from inside the phone in the last two pictures. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sprint's presence at CES is Dissapointing!

Now were are the revolutionary wireless devices that have been announced by all of the other carriers?

My contract is up in April, and with NOTHING exciting coming to Sprint and possibly keeping me with them, looks like I will have to leave their dependable network and good coverage because they don't have the devices to run on said network!

Sprint you really disappoint me! Time to jump ship!

Simple rules to be happy with any service provider

1) Use the trial period to insure you get coverage where you need it.
2) Find a phone that does what you NEED it to do.
3) Pick a plan that fits your needs.
4) Review you bill monthly and pay it on time.
5) Treat your phone like the expensive electronic equipment it is.
6) Expect to only get a discount on a new phone within the guidelines set forth by your provider.

Sprint beats Verizon, Att, and T-mobile in real world network test

Sprint has better coverage then Verizon, att, and tmobile in the top 8 cites in the US. Just another reason to switch to Sprint. 😎

1/1/10 OPPORTUNITY TO CANCEL YOUR SPRINT ACCT WITHOUT ETF

Sprint has notified me by statement that it’s raising its fee in the form of the Regulatory Charge. This fee will increase to $0.40 per line, along with a $4.99 account fee for those that have spending limits. The increases in charges are effective on January 1, 2010, and both constitute a material adverse change in my wireless agreement with Sprint.

Per Sprints Terms/Conditions: "If a change we make to the Agreement is material and has a material adverse effect on Services under your Term Commitment, you may terminate each line of Service materially affected without incurring an Early Termination Fee only if you: (a) call us within 30 days after the effective date of the change; and (b) specifically advise us that you wish to can...

I need some Sprint advice...

Come April 1st I will be eligible for a 2 year upgrade from my current phone. I will no doubt be staying with Sprint, due to their competitive call and data plans, as well as the fact that their current line up of phones is showing progress. Which brings me to my question... Come April 1st (which is less than 3 months away), should I upgrade to the HTC Hero (which I have been researching heavily the past month and I am absolutely in love with) ... or should I wait for the next big smarthphone to come out on Sprint? I am pretty much sold on Android OS, so will there be another, upgraded, Android device to come to Sprint soon? In 3 months, will Sprint have released something new and bigger than the HTC Hero?

Thanks for advice and insight!

Palm pixi hardware problems

I recieved the palm pixi as a christmas gift. It was brand new. but i have no recipet and not sure what store it was bought at and ive been having some problems with it. The battery sometimes charges and then it doesnt and then you have to turn the phone off and on again for it to charge and then it freezes. shuts off by itself. and has been really slow lately. I have FULL insurance coverage. What can a sprint store do if i take it there? I don't want a refurbished phone, because theres always something wrong with them.

Help me chose between these three sprint phones!

Overlook my username, I was the prodical son that came back to Sprint because they're awesome. Anyway, i came back and got the Samsung Moment, and do not like it. The battery dies very fast, and yes I've conditioned it and it still dies within three hours because I use it a lot. It's also sluggish. So, I'm returning it today but I can't decided between the Tour or the Pre. I've wanted the Pre since it first came out, but I've been a Blackberry Man since 2006 and thought I'd never have anything else. I just came off of the new Blackberry Bold 9700 from TMO, and didn't really care for it, it seemed cheapened from the original Bold. So, what's better, the Pre or Tour? I'm thinking I'm really wanting the Pre. I'm going to Radio Shack in...

SAMSUNG MOMENT PROBLEMS

I have had a Moment for about a month now. It keeps dropping calls. When talking on it, my chin keeps muting or opening apps. I have exchanged it, and the new one does the same thing. Is anyone else having these problems?

Palm Pre?

My hubby got a new Palm Pre for Xmas. He loves it. My question is I've heard they may have an "upgraded" model coming out soon. A Sprint store employee mentioned a Palm Pre Pro, but had no more details. Anyone heard of this or have any ideas?

I know VZW is releasing the phone and its supposed to be slightly different (more memory) is what I've read. Does anyone know if Sprint will follow?

TIA 🙂
