Apparently they're going to cover a lot more of the San Joaquin Valley, which is certainly a plus.

I just heard from one of the store managers that MetroPCS service will also be available soon in the Los Angeles area! The licences have been approved! Also, look forward to an agreement with a major carrier that will give MetroPCS users nation-wide access on a (prepaid) pay-as-you go roaming program that will cost us a fraction of what they do now. This is supposed to be a reality by the end of the year but is being tested now!

For Internet freaks: If you're in the San Jose, CA area right now (March 28, 2005) there are certain parts of SJ where the Internet eccess service is being Beta tested! Have fun!

Heard the same thing about LA but heard that it was still like a year + away. Guess they bought some licenses from Cricket or something like that. Lets hope they can get the roaming bit down I would definately prefer to use my 6255i everywhere and not just in the Metro market.
