Is the service really good? Honest answers only pls
Looking around for a service provider. Metro seems pretty cheap, but i don't know, the whole unlimited calling things for $40 sounds fishy. If everyone yaps as much as they can, doesnt that overload the towers, at least at peak hours?
How reliable is the service, honestly?

Lordy, don't all jump up n' answer all at once. 😳

Ok, I guess Metro's off the list. L8R.

congratulations. you just made a smart move. I do insurance for Metro. It's a bit ghetto. And by ghetto, I mean that you can pay by credit card, cash, or crack.

Hey, I hope this isn't too late. I have Metro and the service is good, very good. Yes, you can talk all you want, and text all you want with the text message package (me and my friends abuse this one in class.) I rarely have dropped calls. The only draw backs are: 1.not a good choice of phones if you are a gadgety person and Metro is very slow in getting new phones. And really, some of them seem dated and a bit overpriced for what you get. 2. If you travel then Metro is not good. Metro will only work in it's very limited service areas, if you go to say Las Vegas, then your phone won't work.
I have heard that they are partnering up with other companies and expanding, but that was a couple of years ago and I have yet to see any real expansion...

I agree with JJ...the service is good if you are the Bay Area and Sacramento area. But if you travel, go with another service
I live in San Jose and don't travel that much, but have been happy with my service for about 3 years now.
If you do go with Metro...get a nice phone, like the Nokia 6255i ... the reception is always great and the features are awesome.
btw...dj doesn't know what he's talkin' about...he's just hatin'!
