they have look into it but they cant get the bandwidth high enough or find a way to price it
...
Oh, the bandwidth isn't the issue. More accurately the pricing, or how to package it. I'd expect another 10-15 dollar jump for an account with unimlimited data. Watch Dallas, word is they'll be the first with EVDO WAP working, since all the board members live there...

The word is they are going to launch a new plan the U50 which will include the wap browser, dallas and detroit are supposed to be the test market for this, theres also a rumor floating arround and backed by a motorola rep that we may also pick up the "q" to go along with the evdo launch, wich will also be trialing in dallas and detroit soon.

There was once a free wap portal posted everywhere on the forums. I entered that address long ago, perhaps 3-6months after they first offered service in Miami and it worked for atleast another 6months. At the time, employees had already been able to browse from thier phones. So it's a matter of having a working server address to plug in.. Anyone, share the wealth?

When is it going to come to the San Francisco Bay Area. Because I can't wait till the MobileWeb is released. It gets so boring just using your cellphone for calls and textmessages, wishing there was a way to get access to the web like email, aim, and other mobileweb activities.
