No 6255i in Detroit??!?
Well when I first seen the Metrop PCS store down the street from my house I went in intrested in learning about the new service. This was my 1st time hearing of Metro PCS. So anyway, the man showed me all the phones and the best one they had was the Nokia 6235i. Now this phone was cool but I really perfer flip phones. So anyway, later that day I go online and look at the phones. On the site they were showing the 6255i. I loved what I read about this phone. So anyway my plan was to buy this phone.. whether I would have to go to another store or order online. So now when Im almost ready to buy it, I go back online and the phone is no longe there!! So now i want to know if the phone is simply not available in my area or what. Someone please ...

Sounds like you went to an authorized dealer. Try finding a corporate store they sell all 9 of the phones offered by Metro right now.

the detroit market originaly planned to not carry the 6255i as its reaching end of life in production soon, but the last word is they may be shipping a small amount of them to the direct retail stores to fill in the gap untill the 6135i launches in late june/july

DetroitMetro is correct the Nokia 6255i is not available in the Detroit Marker.
