t-mobile users dont receive my text messages
I just received my new metropcs phone and for some reason t-mobile users aren't receiving my text messages.. is this just something with my phone or does this happen to a lot of people?

my friend who has metroPCS cant send to tmobile customers, i dont know why, hopefully someone can elaborate, this forum gets dead sometimes

It does depend where you live and what your phone number is... in the new metro pcs areas that have new batches of numbers are most likely to have problems, the other carries do not have the new metro pcs numbers mapped to their systems yet, in most cases the only way to resolve the issue is to convince the (in this case tmobile) other carrier to submit a trouble ticket to get it fixed

ive had my metro phone for about two months now and the first month was really bad with my girlfriend who has tmobile.
i would send her some sms and she would get them like four hours later. i would get hers all on time but my replies would be way late.
but now i dont know why but the problem is all fixed. we get each others sms messages like normal. text and multi-media.
