Kyocera M1000
This phone, the successor to the Strobe, looks very promising. Better screen and updated interface. Do any of you insiders know if/when it might be coming to U.S. Cellular?
I saw they just got the new MARBL.
I know that many of you do not prefer the Kyocera phones, but a full keyboard is appealing to someone who does a lot of texting or e-mailing.
Thanks for the info!

signal strength and durability are more important than having to learn a new way to txt. (most of my teens drool over the strobe, then bring it back a week later saying that it is too hard to learn to txt qwerty)

Kyocera has a horrible track record in general for quality of production.
The Strobe is prone to screen failure and has five or six pretty sever software issues.
Kyocera is kind of like off brand soda. I guess you can drink it if you have to.
