NEW licenses Aquired

If so does anyone know what new markets we aquired if or just what markets did we gain more spectrum.

Sorry got trigger happy...

As I was saying... I believe they were acquired in exisiting markets in order to allow them to build out EVDO.

Also,

Markets acquired in the AWS auction last year were mainly in the midwest central portion of the nation in efforts to join Tennessee and the Missouri areas together.

Well as a matter of fact I wish we would start growing and doing more all over the us since its called U.S cellular. If not we should just change our name to some of the u.s. cellular

lol agreed we need to get nashville, memphis, kentucky, indy..ect to get a huge middle of the country from NC to Memphis to Chicago. It would make us "Most of the US Cellular"

I forgot how much of Indiana USCC could cover with some PCS licenses they acquired from the old AT&T Wireless for Indiana, but I do remember it was for most of northern & central Indiana. The licenses they have for the northern most counties were part of Primeco that Verizon Wireless was forced to divest in 1999 (except for 10mhz). I don't know if Lafayette Indiana was built out yet, but I saw in one of the most recent PRL's, that there is an entry for Lafayette Indiana. But I do remember they also have a licens...

I will say since I have been working for usc there has been a lot of changes we are finally getting some better advertising won't say its the best. I remember when they were saying it was going to change and have some humor in it well I can't say I have really laughed yet, Altel their Christmas advertising with the snow ball was funny. But what I am saying is if they can spend this money to do this why can't we expand our markets why can't we invest in better phones. Lets not advertise "wireless where you matter most" when we can't get the new cool phones for the "people who are susposed to matter most" Also another point I would like to bring out is lets not spend this money to make us look good if we cant be good in the lines of services (...
