....or at least part of them. I would guess that the "investment group" will be liquidating Alltel at some point. If uscc doesn't do something "big" soon, they will be gobbled up by one of The Bigs. It's a simple numbers thing.

If Alltel doesn't get any 700 band licenses, then they probably will be sold off. Alltel would have to be sold off in pieces regardless, due to any carrier buying them whole would be forced to divest markets. Verizon & AT&T would get most of Alltel as they have the money to do so. USCC might get a few markets, and only primarily markets that either top carrier doesn't want, or can't get due to caps in spectrum. We have to wait & see what happens with Alltel.

Alltel is making money. They have and always will with the current managment. Meaning Goldman sachs since they heavy into communications will keep them until they can't make anymore money off them. Hargray wireless has been owned by an investment group for the last 6 years and operated as they did before. They finally sold their wireless service due to them offering local phone cable and internet now. They will still service the ones that get wireless in their bundles though. Just because a investment group owns them does not mean they will be sold.

You're right, but it's nice to dream. Maybe someday! 🤤
