My Q is driving me crazy... Can I silence MSG indicators?

The new message indicators - yes

Start Menu ->
Settings ->
Sounds ->

Choose each indicator you would like to silence (ie: New e-mail, New text message) and choose none or vibrate as the option depending on your preference.

No, I mean to silence it when you get an incoming message. Just like you can calls and texts on a normal cell phone.

So your saying you have a long ring tone as the message indicator and you want to silence it when it is in the process of ringing.

Hmmm, I do not know. The majority of people just use a standard message indicator tone that plays for just a second or two.

If you have a song you need to shorten the audio file. there is no way to silence there text message tone.
check everythingq.com there is plenty of information to answer virtually any question you have.
