lol I agree, but u.s. cellular has nothing to offer for sale, not to another company and not to their customers! P.S. I am so excited that alltel is in talks with verizon.

Its a done deal! Alltel is going to be no more. I think its a great thing for the customers though! More options better phones better coverage! US cellular has what 6 million customers... thats worth something, and its just a matter of time now! And the best part is that its a publicly traded company and it could be bought out at anytime! The days are numbered!

US cellular has solid coverage in midwest markets. That will be of interest to VZW at some point I think.

When VZW bought Primeco, they were forced to divest the properties in the Chicago market, and only kept half the spectrum. If they were to buy USCC, Chicago and many other midwestern markets would be subject to divestiture as well. There is not much for VZW to gain, be it additional customers, hardware or spectrum by doing this.

seriously............ Verizon just spend a VERY large amount of $$$ on Alltell. Therefore, US Cellular is NOT going to be bought out anytime soon. Who would purchase them? Sprint? 🤣
