I recently ran into a problem where I was in a roaming area and my text messages would take a long time to receive. I had all my bars in the area but it was out of their coverage area. The people I sent the messages to would get them right away (they were in the U.S. Cellular coverage area) but I would not receive their message from anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 hours. Why is this? Is there a way to fix it or do I just need to get a different carrier?
