Unlocked Phones

Does anyone know if older CDMA and TDMA phones are unlocked to use on networks such as Alltel?

Nope. they aren't. it's possible you could get the sublock code from the carrier but even then I doubt Alltel would activate it

Nope. even with sublock code, when the cell phone originally comes from the manufacturer It has a chip in it with the company's program. Tis why we always tell customers to make sure they are on our network prior to downloading software for updates. Once another carrier is downloaded the cell phone has to go to the manufacturer to be flashed.
