I have the White LG UX 260, I've only had it for 4 months, I just signed with USCC in May. Well I had to send the phone back 5 weeks after I got it, well they had my phone, for over 7 weeks, then I get it back and its still messed up with the same sound problem, so I called the lady and they said they replaced the screen and thats not even what I sent it in for, so they sent it in again had to get another loaner, and now its back and its still not fixed!!! The sound still isn't working, and the U.S. Cellular people just keep telling me to send it back, well I'm sick of sending the phone back, is there anything I can do, they won't give me a new phone, unless I use my insurance, I never had this problem with Verizon, I'm almost ready to switc...

for me to figure out your best avenue to go i need to know a few things?

Did you buy it at a corporate retail store (usually in bigger cities with a repair center and a handfull of employees)
or an agent store? (one or two employees retail or kiosk no repair usually)

Have you called into customer service or just gone to the store to have it looked at/ sent off?
if yes how many times?

ok ill try my best to tell you what to do...sounds like your lost in the cracks and we need to get you back to sanity.(having your phone and it working corectly)

k im only speculating here but if they said you needed to use your insurance to get a new phone then there must have been some kind of damage to the phone.

No, I had the phone for 5 weeks, and the sound just went out of it, like first the ring tones would skip but then just went out totally, it vibrates and I can hear people on the phone I just cant hear my music or use my speaker phone.. The only thing wrong with the phone is where I dropped it at work, and theres a few minor scratches on the back and side of it.

I've took it to the local Agent store, and they sent me to the Corp. Store, where the technician told me he never have seen that problem before, so they sent it to LG, to "fix" it, I get it back 7 weeks later, and I didn't even think about checking the phone to see if it was working, so I got home and saw that it was still messed up(still no sound), so I called Customer Service and they told me I could take it back to the Corp. Store and they would send it off AGAIN, so I did, this time it only took 4 weeks, and I got it back, and it's still not fixed so I took it back to the Corp. store and they said all they can really do is send it back once more, I asked if I could get another phone for free and they said no, all they could do is send it...

I am an employee of US Cellular as well. After having your phone sent out so many times they should be very willing to exchange out your phone for a different one. At my location we have done this a few times if the customer has sent their phone out for repair multiple times and the problem has not been corrected.
