Speed Dial to US Cellular Voice Mail
Just got a new Nokia 6585 w/ US Cellular. The #1 speed dial seems to be pre-programmed to go to voice mail but I get this recording saying my call cannot be completed as dialed. I have my mail box set up and can access it by dialing in manually. Is there a way to make this #1 speed dial work? This is a great little phone btw!! Thanks for any input.

Hit the menu soft key. Select messages, then select voice messages. Make sure the number that was programmed to the phone is the correct number, meaning your number. Good luck. 🙂

Around here (New Hampshire) the US Cellular sales reps program the #1 speed dial for customers. If it doesn't work right, you should go back to the sales person and explain what is happening.
There is a specific sequence that needs to be programmed, including pauses between groups of numbers, but it may vary from phone to phone.
I know the number on my current phone has different characters in it than the last one did.
