Thats happened to me too. Someone called our agent store and asked me if we were US Cingular. I am SOO glad we are NOT Cingular/ AT&T, there phones dont work here.

My store was next to a Cingular store and we had there idiot customers coming into our stor thinking that we were Cingular when we have a ginormous sign outside that says US Cellular!! Some people arent very bright.

I have had Cingular customers walk in with a Cingular bag or bill in hand sign in and wait for up to 20 mins all the while we are greeting each person that comes in " welcome to US cellular" only for them to respond with complete shock and disbelief when I inform them that it is not a CIngular store...Wow it makes me wonder how some people even remeber to breath. Probably my favorite reason that they changed the name to At&T

ha! I get customers calling us that all the time. They come in with cingular phones, I tell them thats not ours and they say "really?" "isnt this US cingular?" brilliant
