figured. ☹️ i live in the eastern panhandle of wv and i hate us cellular because they are so late to get everything like EVDO and phones. im thinking bout switching when my contract is up. Right now i have the htc 6800. 🤣

I know I live by McAlester OK and was told by the Corp store that we won't be getting EVDO at all. I guess they don't care about our market.

If USCC doesn't have enough spectrum for that market, then EVDO won't come to your market. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that market is just PCS. If all they hold is 10mhz, then that's not enough to successfully launch EVDO; not without overloading the network. A carrier needs at least 20mhz to have both 1X & EVDO.

If that's why then they need to add more.

It's not that easy. The FCC has auctions to sell spectrums and if you don't get them then you are up S**t Creek.
