Best camera?
So which of the phones that USCC currently sells or is testing has the best camera?
Ultimately I see there being two types of phones mostly - smart phones with WIFI which I don't want and phones with cameras which I prefer. since I can see needing a good camera with me I want the best camera possible - probably a 4 or 5 megapixel. What are my choices??

2.0 megapixels are the best US cellular has. 4 or 5 megapixel phones didnt exist until about a month ago when motorola released the Zine, which is a 5 megapixel camera phone that i believe t-mobile has exclusive rights to. you wont see any other carriers with better that 2mp camera phones for quite some time.

My personal favorite so far has been the Samsung Delve's camera.
The full touch screen converts to the camera view, and the image itself fixes minor excess movement.
There is also a night photo option.
If you have a USCC around you I would suggest going to the store and asking to see for yourself. 🙂

as far as picture quality goes, they will be about the same. as far as functionality and accessibility the delve or HTC touch are probably the best.

the 830 has a pretty solid camera too. I haven't messed with the delve's much but I'm very impressed with the LG

but all the cameras mentioned are also what I would call "smart" phones. They have an exposed touch screen surface with a web browser and other extra features.
I prefer a clamshell with no large touch screen.

I have a LG ux830 and compared to my old Nokia 6265i camera it is weak ... Side by side pictures are almost incomparable. I would say the HTC touch / 6800 or the Samsung Delve right now.
And regarding the 5MP camera phones and up: Completely untrue. I was in Switzerland on business about 3 years ago now and they had 5MP Sony Ericsson back then.
