So I know as far as the current gen Curve (83xx), current gen Pearl (81xx), and current 88xx series goes 4.5 is the highest OS you will get from any carrier (excluding Nextel with their brand new 8350 Curve). I also know that RIM is currently releasing a new line of Curves, Pearls, (the replacement for the 88xx) Bold, and the new line, the Storm. The new Bold, Pearls, and Curve all have or will have OS 4.6 installed. So will RIM release 4.6 for us users of the 83xx Curve and other soon-to-be-outdated Blackberries or does all the fun go to the new kids on the block. There is already a 83xx Curve with 4.6 with Nextel so I don't see why it wouldn't work to make available to CDMA and GSM versions. Does RIM usually do this? Will they in this ...
