Don't ask me how I know this as I can't share and if you don't believe then oh well, I'm sharing anyway. I have been told from reliable sources that US Cellular has/will buy Alltel in the following places: Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado, Idaho...and that's all I have confirmation of, but I'd venture to guess it would include Kansas and Nebraska as well. Only time will tell, you heard it here first!

i cannot confirm this but this sounds about accurate on rumors. I also believe one area you missed is the southern part of illinois thats missing and more of minnesota aswell and possibly the rest of wisconsin.

thats what i heard atleast, but hence it is just a rumor.

If "the rest of wisconsin" is true that will be sweet. I asked not too long ago if we had coverage in "the rest of wisconsin" - basically above hwy 29. I see this as good news.

Nothing in Wisconsin is being divested. It's all going to Verizon.

thom06; "I'd venture to guess it would include Kansas and Nebraska as well". I'd venture not. I find it hard to view you as being credible when you do don't have a logical theory. Why would USCC want the Verizon market in Nebraska that is available? They already have it. 🤣
