EVDO in Appalachia??!!

So US Cellular has been in my area for a long time.... ever since cell phones began becoming largely available here, they were here. I know most of uscc territory is in the midwest but there have been a lot of faithful customers here for nearly a decade or longer.... so when will US Cellular ever bring EVDO high speed data to my area. I mean, come on, AT&T has only been here for a little more than a year when they bought and rebranded Cellular One here and they are already planning to bring HSDPA here in late spring or early summer. I have a feeling I'll have to wait a while since we're not exactly too close to the rest of US Cellular's (non-roaming) coverage area though. ☹️ Just for your information, the area of Appalachia I am referring t...

thanks for your request and patience. I was told that uscc is planning to have evdo in all markets by the end of 2009.

They wanted to focus on larger markets then roll them out to all afterwards, the Chicagoland Launch was a huge project, The chicagoland area population is nearly 9Million people so this was a huge project and did work out well for the company, so i understand your frustration but all uscc areas will get this!
