Any truth???

Has anyone heard any Truth to a rumor I heard the other day at a local U.S. Cellular store. A Sales Agent was talking to some people and mentioned that a Private Equity firm is looking at buying U.S. Cellular, the divested Alltel markets and Sprint?

there was something online about the TDS (that uscells parent company) investors pressuring the board to put uscc up for sell, but it was really vague and said that everyone involved was refusing to comment
