Have you ever worked in a retail store? Do you like Aim? It has to be a pain. I saw it, and it frustrated me to just look at it. I think it would be hard not to have full access to CARES.

i actually like AIM, it's very easy to use. I do wish you could do more on AIM though, especially see minute usage, etc etc. Never worked in a retail store. I'd like to, but they are not the nicest people at the stores here. âšī¸

dont worry, not exactly in madison. đ we have stores in mount horeb, new glarus, and dodgeville. do you guys have lots of business? I have been waiting to sell just 1 phone today but nothing :-( And we had lines of people at Christmas.

It's so hard to sell. Do you guys tell people that pay as you go comes with the phone or how do you get it added? Cuz you have to hit 85% right?

we put paygo on every line, tell them it's included like text messaging, and then tell them about packages especially if they want ringtones, etc

Well, after seeing that (yes its been awhile since I've read the forums) I just had to register and post. I too live in Madison and work in the area. I generally cycle between a few of our agent locations but currently do most of the grunt work out in (lovely :S) Cross Plains.
It seems that there is quite a gathering in the area, do I smell a USCellCon05 in the works!, j/k. Perhaps a phone tree, to help relieve the boredom of a slow work day. I sure know it is much more fun to complain about AIM and EE to a live person (though I'm sure my agent rep would tell you differently ;), then through a message board.

Yes, I work in a retail store. I guess when I saw all the limitations that Aim had, I thought it would be frustrating.
I have only worked with CARES. I like it more. I can do everything myself. I do not have to call anyone.
As for entering codes on CARES, you can click on the price plan you want, and features. Or you can do what I do, copy, and paste from OLR. It is easier that way. Then I know for sure I am putting the right stuff in there.

yes I do work for the same company đ and I like using aim too bk77. I saw CARES and I think the opposite lol. In CARES you have to enter all the codes, in AIM, we just have to click all options, but I agree that the limitations is what makes it difficult.

For USCC? I thought I saw you on a different forum with a different carrier. If you are with USCC that's great. I think this company is the best by far. We get treated really well. At least I think so.

Yes! It is good! It's about $6 a plate, but well worth it. I love the fettucini alfredo with chicken. And if you like spicy food, they have tons of spicier dishes.

yah we have to call p to the r c...sometimes that kinda sucks, specially if your on hold a while, or you get a "repeater" for an operator (someone that has to repeat EVERY little thing back to you)

See that is why I love CARES, and Smartpay. I can do everything myself. Well... not everything. I have to call up for suspends/unsuspends which is a pain now that we do not have "Sales que" anymore. God, I loved them. No hold time, no new CSR's who asked you everything in the world. Or do not listen to what you say.
Do not get me wrong. The majority of you are wonderful CSR's. I appreciate you all more than you know, there are just a couple out there who drive me nuts!

Where you work bk? I'm from CEDAR CCC here, CS/EZE and HD. I definitly agree w/you that we're all awesome but there's always a few bad apples, lol. Most of the time I would prefer to talk to an agent/sales rep because they usually have the idea of what they want or know what they're talking about....
