New phones
Is us cellular going to get the samsung trance or the samsung exclaim?
...
You've come to the wrong forum, most everyone here is not allowed to speculate on anything, most of the people here are Employees of US Cellular and will more than likely ignore that you even asked any question regarding new phones. As far as your questions goes I do not know and would say until it shows up on the rebate forum the answer would be not anytime soon. Now hopefully I will not get beat up for my comments.

Our phone portfolio is definitely expanding in the 3rd quarter. We are getting new phones in all the time, but the honest truth is that we don't really KNOW that they are coming until the day before they ship to us.
I'm not one to beat up anyone for comments at all - I want to KNOW what we are going to have just as much as the next person.

Thanks for not beating me up, I was told by an agent of US Cellular not retail, that USCC is coming out with a waterproof Phone? Is the agent smoking crack? I've heard of the Shockproof, tough & military spec type phones but not waterproof. Just throwing what I heard out there.

there are a few phones that are water resistant...Since Verizon and USCC use the same technology it may be something like the Boulder... a military spec'd phone that is water resistant. Not saying that will be the phone but am only using it as an example... 🙂

Hmm the boulder is something I would be interested in. I like the compass and flashlight and you gotta love the mil spec toughness of it.
It would have to be the version with the camera of course.. That would be a great alternative to all those smart phones that require a data plan. I'm sick of those. So when is the question.

most of the time agents know about new phones before corporate employees due to agents haveing to order their own phones sometimes a phone can be ordered weeks before it actually comes out.
...
it is a military spec phone which can be submerged up to 30 ft.
