Why??
Why are you all revealing what USCC is doing way before we do it? All a competitor has to do is read this forum and they can see everything that USCC is trying to accomplish strategically. Jack Rooney sent out an e-mail about a month ago concerning stuff like this and yet folks are still posting information that is supposed to be kept confidental and internally until launch date. I doubt the SEC appreciates this kind of stuff being leaked either.

your comments about those who post here are unnecessary because you have no idea who it is that provides comments and feedback in this forum. i refuse to stoop to your level in saying that any individual is way down on the totem pole other than to say that you are more than likely the base under the ground that supports the whole totem pole and because you were not the first to know all of the information that is posted here, you feel as though you should insult others. i will leave it at that.

I am a RSS in the kiosk channel in Virginia. I'm not trying to cause problems or even force my opinion. I'm really just wanting to reiterate to those of who us DO work for US Cellular that our own CEO (who we really should respect because he's been absolutely great to us) has requested that we not post this kind of stuff in the forums...and he gave some really good reasons why we shouldn't. Of course my two cents worth isn't going to stop anybody, but those of us employed by USCC should really stop and think about that request Jack made before posting information before launch date. If not out of keeping information secret from competitors, but just out of respect for a great CEO's wishes.

The big point ist o get info. Many times people are all on diffrent pages. Why not join all of are info to help each other out?

If anybody that works for USCC is on a different page, all they have to do is look at the OLR and they're on the same page as everybody else...and I'm sure your region is just like ours in that there are All-Associate conference calls periodically to go over these kinds of things.
I love this forum too...it's a great place to discuss issues, help people with problems, and discuss things we like and don't like. But as a publicly traded company, information like new pricing and promotions isn't supposed to go out before it's launched. I don't know exactly what you'd call that kind of information leak, but it can lead to something "kin" to what happens with insider trading...maybe somebody more wise in the law can tell us what that's calle...

YA its called fired if the right person from uscc happened to see all the pertinent info being "leaked". Pretty much everyone working for cell companies sign confidentiality agreements when hired, maybe some people have forgotten that.
