USCC best -- Cingular worst !!

As we all already knew, a new report out today rates U.S. Cellular BEST company in terms of customer complaints. Coming in LAST place is Cingular - ATT.
Complaints per million customers :

Cingular = 288.9

U.S. Cellular = 39.4

Just the facts. Let the losers start mumbling.

10% of what Cingular has but you're missing the point. Its based on complaints per million. I'm surprised Cingular did so poorly and it probably has a lot to do with the ATTWS takeover. Still, you cannot discount the solid results for USCC.

USCC doesn't have the cust base that Cing has.

USCC = small fries

My point is that USCC has the least complaints b/c they have the least amount of Cust. You can not compare USCC to a major Company like Cingular...

It's complaints per million. Its a percentage. Its relevant. Who cares if USCC is tiny compared to Cingular? You've proven again you've missed the point. 😲

Look at it another way. Compare Cingular's results to Verizon's. What's your response, now?

Cingular is a good company but other than the expected kinks in taking over ATTWS, it is difficult to defend those findings.

Read? What kind of comeback is that? You still don't get it...at all.

Forget USCC. Why is Cingular flat-out the WORST in customer complaints?

USCC doesn't care what you think. But Cingular's main competition is Verizon and Verizon was the runaway best among the mega-carriers.

Give me a better response. Show us your smarts. Show us your guts. Show ME how tough you are, dude. 😡

I don't give a hoot, either. Just merely responding to your educated responses. Sorry to have stooped to your level. 😁

you know since that report was released the only people that DO NOT understand "per million" are cingular customers. Which leads to to conclude 2 things. 1) That cingular customers aren't too bright or 2) that cingular customers would rather make themselves look stupid rather than admit that cingular finished last...

Its amazing when you get a troller like that. Even more amazing when he has to pick on USCC, which is no threat at all.

Instead, he should post his comments in the Verizon section but its unlikely he has the backbone to do it.

I came to USCC from Cingular because of their ****ty service. USCC has better reception and excellent customer service. Cingular might be bigger, but they need to hire more people to handle the load and they need better training. THEY SUCK 🤣 🤣

JUST because it complaints per million doesn't mean it's fair and true...let me explain >>

Assuming this:
If uscc has 2 million customers
If cingular has 10 million customers

Then it's pretty simple that there is 5 times the likley hood that more customers, or less customers in each million could complain.

See basically they take the number of complaints and divide by the customer database. Yes this gives a complaint percentage, BUT it is an unfair assumption to compare the likely hood of X people out of 2 million calling in, and X people out of 10 million people callig in. With the larger base of customers there is a gerater chance that more people out of a million will call in.

See lets say i field 1 million calls today. Sin...

Can you explain, then, Verizon's excellent results -- the lowest by far of the major carriers? Verizon's showing disproves your theory.

Cingular fans who bash USCC over the results are just whiners. Period. USCC is not a major carrier, nor does it want to be a major carrier. USCC just wants to compete in the markets it serves.

Give credit to USCC for its results. It doesn't mean USCC is better than Cingular.

OMFG!!!! what dont you people understand???

1 million USCC customers have just as much of an opportunity to call the FCC just as much as 1 million cingular customers...

your logic is flawed...serverly.

I agree. Only time will tell if it is buyout issues in marrying the two networks or if it is indeed a chronic issue. I believe from past performance it is a combination of the two. I don't believe Cingular will ever reach the level of customer care of Nextel, USCC or Verizon but they will definitely get better.

Why can't we? Everyone seem so happy to make the comparison when it works in Cingular's favor, or when pointing out how small USCC's regional footprint is when compared to Cingular and Verizion's national one.

So why can't we compare Cingular's dismal FCC's complaint record to USCC's? Especially when it is done in complaints per million?

Its also very funny that other companies have to problem comparing uscc w/them when it comes down to coverage, national plans, phones etc. Why not continue now? Especially when uscc is starting to stomp on national plans. Compare us always or none at all

OMG you are an idiot. The numbers that were posted are based on a percentage per million customers. Though USC might be a company of only 5 million customers, our average customer stays with us for 7 years vs. 3 years of other carriers. We have been ranked #1 in customer service by many different surveys for several years. Half the customers I activate come from ATTingular who are tired of their lack of customer service.
