Does anyone think they're actually complimenting us?
OK, in my area, everyone compares USC to Cingular or Sprint. A lot of people say we can't compete with them because of their "National Coverage." No one ever compares us to Edge Wireless or some carrier who actually is at all similar.
Cingular and Sprint are National Carriers, the fact is, USC is trying to expand their local coverage but just can't because they're not as big as these other guys. Isn't comparing a regional cell service like USC with National carriers like Cingular, just a compliment?
Anyone with me on this one? Make sense?

I agree. I tell customers all the time that we are not in a race with Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, Alltel....hmmm..let thing about that..that is most of the major networks out there. Funny...how does USCC want to stay alive if there don't get there butt in gear?

Well if nobody has looked at it yet, I think we're now quite competitive with the "national" carriers. The new national plans we rolled out today should open a few eyes. US Cellular does in fact keep their focus on the local customers and will continue to focus on expanding the local area, not totally because we don't have the financial resources--but because of that complete customer satisfaction strategy. USCC meets their objectives through the best quality customer service and through a high quality network. That said, US Cellular will continue to invest more and more into local coverage areas. At the same time though, we have several new markets which are going to be launched...one huge one this summer actually. I love what the com...
