is anyone confusing you with Cingular as much as happens here?
if i had a nickel for every time i am asked if "we merged with AT&T" or if we"have rollover" or someone has slapped a phone down from Cingy and tried to yell at me about it..

I get it everyday. And Cingular is not even in this area.
Or people asking me about their phones. I have no clue about GSM. They want me to show them how to use their phone, or set up vm. Um... No clue, don't sell ther service. Then they get mad at me. My shirt says US Cellular!!

My favorite is when they come in and say that they are with U.S. Cingular. Then I have to ask them to clarify exactly what company that is and they look at me like I'M the idiot! 😕

i had one lady pull her phone out and itold her we were uscc, she looked at me like i called her a liar and said "waitaminnit" and went to power on her phones so the logo would display... 😳 still said cingular though...

We don't get Cingular as much as US Cellular One. or Cell One or Unicell.

Omigod!! lol Everything you guys are saying is something I hear on a regular basis. I especially hear "US Cingular" or "Cellular", or most of the time, they think we are just flat out Cingular. They always ask is we caary the RAZR or if we bought out AT&T. LOL I wonder what it is that makes soooo many people make this misake. Are they not paying attention? Or does the average consumer really just not care?? Or maybe both? LOL 🙄

no, methinks the avg comsumer might be illiterate...lol...but seriously, here our ads only run about a third the time Cingy's do, and Cingular and Cellular are only off 3 letters, share the same number of syllables...and both have pointy symbols accented with dots..but it IS stil annoying as heck....
