my experience with both Samsung and HTC is this. If you want a device that has tons of features, computing ability, gadgets, including tons of stuff you will never find or use. If you have a degree (or minor) in programing or are a IT professional. The HTC is for you.
If you want to try an android and don't need so much stuff preloaded, but only want what you will actually use, with a more simplified system, then the Samsung is for you. The Galaxy looks cool, hope ours looks as cool as the other companies do.

I held off big time when the HTC Desire came out because I went nuts for the specs on the Samsung. As we are now getting into the month of Oct., is there any word on an official release date, or what ours will be like? Seeing how Verizon, Att, Sprint, and T-Mobile somewhat modified theirs from the European version I wasnt sure if U.S. Cellular was also thinking of say a keyboard like the Epic 4G, or say even first to come out with Froyo. One thing I will say about U.S. Cellular they sure are tight lipped, not necessarily a bad thing as it builds up interest.
