Ok, lets set the record straight.. I like USCC, I also like verizon, that is why I have both of them right now, I am looking at going to one only, that is why I am trying both out right now. On the roaming question I asked, it was a question, my phone pops up the roam indicator when I am not suppose to be roaming, that is why I asked, I was not complaining...I did state that it would be nice if USCC could program our phones so the indicator would not come on if we are in a local area. I also said it would be nice to have a swap out plan for phones, a little complaint, but, who doesnt have a complaint.

I think USCC has execellnt coverage, specially when I am in the USCC territory, I think they are top notch in coverage in their territory...

very nice 😁 now down to business I also have Verizon and U.S. cellular as well as Nextel but thats just for work anyways... I'm in Chicagoland area and I have to say U.S. cell probably gets a little better signal than Verizon here it's not much but if you drive around with both carriers phones you will see the subtle differences that aside, I think you get the most bang for your buck with USCC. Don't get me wrong I'm an avid Verizon supporter and yes I do think they have the best network in the country. Here is the question you have to ask yourself is USCC working for you everywhere you need it to? Or is that 50% rule always goiong to linger in your head? also do you really think that 50% rule is going to apply to you? if so then its a no b...

Now that is a great reply. 🙂

I have used my phone in chicago area, well, actually Joilet, I had good service with both.

I think we are on the same page here, I just use my uscc phone on the local area and I think uscc has top service. I have asked myself the question about the 50% rule, and, yes, if uscc enforces it, it would be a problem, as I drive truck, and I am in minnesota, south dakato, and Nebraska on a regular basis, and not to mention the 2 spots in iowa that are roaming areas that I sit in the middle of, which I hear USCC is putting up a system in those areas to include them in the local plan, that will be a huge benifit in my area, and verizon will be in trouble in this town I live in, unless verizon puts a new tower in ...

You are asking a question that can't accurately be answered.

Do they enforce the 50% rule....well of course they do, otherwise they wouldn't even have such a thing.

Have people gotten away with breaking the rule....yes they have.

Its not something that anyone can really confirm or not. I would say go for it and if they call you, then you'll know not to keep breaking the rule.

LOL, that is true, kind of like speeding on the highway, we are breaking the rule, but, most of the time get away with it... 😁

Do you know if they are more paticular about use in Minnesota, that seems like the main difference between me and my buddy, and he has never been contacted.
