This forum desperately needs more activity and a new topic, I have nothing new important to talk about so I will just ask what phones do all of you have. I have a 5550 to replace my 731 that died after 6 months. i just want to know, especially from the other agents and employees.

Right now a Nokia 6585.....I LOVE that it actually works in the metal building that I work in. No other phone I have owned (including the LG VX6100 and KYO Soho, most recently) has ever gotten enough signal in my cubicle to even send a text. This one can. It also has a nice little radio feature.
Wish it could do NWeb, but we can't have it all, can we?

I recently traded in my Audiovox 8900 for the 8910. I prefer the 8900 and would switch back to it, but my boss lent it out as a loaner phone and the customers girlfriend found a few naughty text messages from the customers ex-girlfriend, and needless to say, he only had a few bits and pieces of the phone to turn back into us. đĸ Think of all the money I wasted on downloads on that phone, a good $30.00 just in ringtones. âšī¸

I just got the 6100 about a month ago. So far, I do really like it. Sometimes it seems like the battery goes quicker than others, even with a full signal most of the day, but lately it's been better. Before that, was the 810. Glad to see it go.

I've had the LG6100 for several months now. So far, it works great. The call clarity is excellent, even on long car trips, and out of town. It has a speakerphone, voice activated commands and dialing, driving mode, and a decent camera. The look and size are great too. The reception has been good everywhere in the greater Chicaga area, and north 200 miles into Wisconsin.

I have the lg6100. So far it's been one of the most durable phones that I have owned, for some reason I am very hard on phones.

I'm currently in a LG vx6100. I was previously in a 5550 (that I LOVED).
I have heard of issues with dropped calls & connection failed errors and experienced both of these with the 6100, however according to my tech, it has to do with the "power user" status held by associates and is not experienced as often, if at all, by our customers.
Any issues seem to resolve themselves simply by power cycling once in awhile.
I'm willing to power cycle my phone occasionally for a beast (sturdy!!) like the 6100. I've beaten mine (unintentionally) all to h-e-doublehockeysticks and it keeps on ticking! I've had it just over 3mo and made/rec over 5300 calls on top of the 200+ times I've dropped it!

The 6100 is built very well, it does have mild service issues in remote areas but moisture seems to be it's only true enemy (don't expect it to come back to life after a swim like older nokia's). From a tech standpoint, I must say that the 6100, 710, & soho are my favorites. Drain your battery all the way on your 6100 and do an overnight charge w/ the power off; battery issues will magically fade away from that point on. I use 1500+ minutes a month, play games, take pics w/ the flash and rarely do I have less than 2 bars when I charge at night.

I have a LG6000 and I love it! I'm almost scared to trade up because this phone has been so good and we all know it doesnt matter what phone is out there, a lemon always shows up even in the best of models!
