Here is my two cents. I'm in the SW part of Virginia w/USCC, I was told on June 1 that we should see the 6255i by the end of the month. The tech's and sales people have been to the official nokia class (back in May)to learn about this phone. Also the brochures are in a box in the back ready to go.
Just this week I was told that it may be next month now.....this is consistent with other posts that I have read on here about in March they say April, then May, then June, then July. The bottom line is USCC is slow to bring on new phones and what is a day to them is like a week to us folks drooling over the damn thing.

I think I need to lower my expectations on USCC getting feature rich handsets. I have worked in wireless and been burned badly by Nokia handset failures on CDMA. Take note only basic models are offered by teh competition in CDMA! Basically Nokia on CDMA is pretty muh NOWAY on CDMA.
I hope I am wrong...I would like to stay with USCC but if I want ringtones, internet, etc, what choice do I have but to switch!? âšī¸

this sucks! ive been waiting and waiting since febuary, they keep pushing it back, and now my phone is broke and im just waiting for that damn 6255... i dont even care what the damn problems are with easyedge or whatnot, i want the phone now!

I agree. I'll never use EasyEdge in my life. Just want the phone. If Alltel gets it first...............

I live in Blacksburg, but I dont work in the cell phone industry. I simply know what I know from pestering my local uscc reps on a regular basis about the 6255i.....are you one of them?
