people are starting to complain about their repairs for the Razr, which is making me think its not just the cdma phones that are constantly being sent out for repair, it seems like half of the motorolas i sell have to be sent back to motorola for manufactures defect! US CELLULAR! GET AN LG NON-CAMERA PHONE FOR ME TO SELL!

no, i have something against selling cameras to people who dont want them, especially since i dont like selling sub-standard phones, like the 265 which is buy one get one.

I agree, the 265 sucks. USCC has to many sub standard phones. Great service, great plans, but if you don't enjoy your phone or like using it, the service and plans don't really matter.

Why does the V265 suck? I will agree the Camera is not that great, and the V266 solves that problem. The service and call quality on any of the Motorola phones offered by U.S. Cellular today, in my opinion, is much better than the LG brand phones I have owned. I had the 5550 and the 6000, neither of which I could make a call from in my apartment. Switched to a Motorola and haven't had Nearly as many dropped calls as with the LGs. My friends with the 6100 & 4750 are no different, they borrow my Motorola when their LG wont make a call. But that's not to say Motorola is for everyone, some people are better with a LG even if call quality isn't as good. ~Just my 2 cents

It's all personal experience, some people come in with phones that have had the worst reputation and say its the best phone they have ever had. Some say the best phones have had the worst reputation, now the 5550 has a bad reputation because there are a lot of those that are bad, but the 6000 is one of the best and certainly the 6100 is better than any of our phones. But my main problem with the 265 is the ammount we have had to send out for repair, too many of them stop working way too soon. On another note we have sold only 6 710's from our location, and 4 have had to be sent to motorola for repair. I used to have a 731, which was motorolas worst phone for us, but i bet if we give it enough time the 265 will give us more problems than the ...

i agree. motos are total garbage, i sell them at last resort. They last 6 months tops, if you take care of it like a newborn baby. And to the guy that says he likes motos better than LG's, you've either been brainwashed by advertising like half the customers that come in insisting on motorolas, or you've never really had and LG before. My list goes 1. Samsung, 2. Nokia, 3. LG, a bunch of other phone manufacturers i would never buy in between, and 1256. Motorola. Hopefully US Cell will by carrying some samsungs by '06.

I explained the LG phones I have had. I will agree that in some cases they are easier to use, but reception wise I would go with a motorola. I am not here to argue which is better, I am just saying that in my area motorola is the way to go because of better call quality. I don't know about the brainwashing theory, but I will look into that, lol. No one phone is right for Every customer, my job is to give the customer the phone that is going to best fit their needs, if that happens to be an LG then great.

I agree 100% but if the 265,262,710 have to be sent out for repair less than 3 months after the customer buys the phone then that is not a good product for the customer. If a customer says he wants a flip phone with great reception and no camera should i point him towards the 262 because it fits that description or should i move to another phone because the microphone or the earpiece is going to go out in 1-3 months time and he will have to use a loaner phone for 6-8 weeks? Do I sell the buy one get one 265 to customers who want 2 camera phones even though they will fail to turn on in 3 months time and instead just flicker on the screen until the battery is removed like 30% of them do which is unacceptable for me (besides the fact that the p...
