LG VX/UX5000
I went to my USCC agent this morning and he said that the phone just passed testing and will be available in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if this phone would be a wise purchase?

Go to the user reviews. The reviews that I read were ALLTEL users, however, they seemed very happy with the phone. A Con that I recall, was that the speaker volume wasn't loud enough. Other than that, there have been many positive things said about the performance of the device. Don't expect great quality photos or video.

the speaker on the 6100 is nothing compared to the 5550 so im sure its the volume on the 5000 is the same as the 6100. Those reviews are too premature to judge as well, those people are the ones who get it home and say "this is the best phone ever" then come in 2 months later to complain.

Which lg is better 5000 or 6100? I have a new Moto v710 and would trade for either of these phones, new of course. The V710 is a nice phone, but I need something smaller.

i will have no idea until i see the 5000 in my hands and have gotten feedback... but with the price increase on the 6100 the 5000 is cheaper.
