My vote is Moto V710. Awesome screens. Awesome reception. Awesome speakerphone. The rest is immaterial. Remember what I told you 7 months ago -- USCC will not release the 6255i until it has been discontinued by at least 3 carriers. 😉

I have to pay full retail for the phone. What should I be able to buy the phone for? Does anyone have any good deals out there?

You should have to pay full retail if you were too cheap to get insurance.

Actually, cell-phone insurance plans are a huge rip-off. Any consumer watchdog group will tell you the same thing. Too high of a monthly fee. Too high of a deductible. Too many terms and conditions. It's like whenever you buy anything at Best Buy they try to sell you an insurance plan for it. Or extended warranty. Or whatever they call it. No thanks.

It's better than paying retail for a new phone. Especially if you know you have accidental tendencies

I think it really depends on the person, and phone they want. If you just want a basic phone, you can get one for around 160 bucks. If you want a camera phone you are looking at 250-400. Think of it this way, You're paying basically $145 for 2 years at 6 bucks a month to have insurance. If you only use it once your probably saving 50-200 bucks, depending on what phone you want. If something happens to your phone again then take the retail value, anywhere from 160-400, and subtract 50. That is the money you're saving by having insurance. But again, it does depend on the person, whether they need insurance or not.

O.K. I finally got a new phone! I went with the V710 and its a really nice phone. I just have one question? Why did they have to make it so big.

Because it wouldn't be the V710. It would be another model number.

Because it has alot of features. Personally, I like 'em big. Makes them feel a little more like and old fashioned phone. Plus, it makes it less likely to slip out of your hands. In 2 weeks you won't even think of it as big. I guarantee it.

The best deal you can find would be a used 6100 from an agent, retail stores sell their used phones higher than the cost of the phone (Reduced from retail) ours are a lot cheaper. But even cheaper if you yourself signed up at an agent and they can get you a better deal since they get a (tiny) chunk of your monthly bill and are interested in keeping you.
