IT IS TRUE THE RAZR IS COMING. I RECENTLY HELD ONE IN MY HAND, ACTIVATED IT, AND USED IT FOR A WEEK. AND SADLY THE 710 IS BETTER. I EXPERIENCED ALOT OF STATIC AND DROPPED CALLS. AND THE CAMERA IS GOOD, A LITTLE BETTER THAN THE 710 BUT NOT WORTH THE SOUND CLARITY. ONE THING TO HOLD ONTO IS THAT ITS STILL IN TESTING AND THESE REPORTS THAT WE SEND BACK ENSURE PHONE QUALTIY BEFORE LAUNCH! SO SAY ALL YOU WANT ABOUT USCC PHONE TESTING AND TESTERS. I GUESS IF THEY WERE LAUNCHED BEFORE PROPER TESTING YOU ALL WOULD COMPLAIN EITHER WAY CAUSE THEN YOU WOULD HAVE A PHONE THAT TRULY SUCKED. 😛

You were testing a model that has not been released. You can bet the static and dropped calls are a result of the beta software on the phone. The model, when it ships will be very good.
Heck, that's why you're testing the phone.
