RIM lawsuit
How is the research in motion lawsuit (as far as the possible injunction on blackberry sales in the US) going to affect our tentative nov.9 BB launch? Anybody have any info?

since it was actually slated to be out in the middle of october, i am guessing this injunction will place USC SOL because they did not have a second choice lined up.

Yeah, we were expecting mid-october...when I heard november 9th, I was bummed but figured everything would be okay since they reported "no problems with the device." Then I read about the suit. I'm just waiting to see if RIM can get the injunction lifted if they settle the blackberry email issue patent whatever. Apparently the blackberry inventer is coming up with something bigger(smaller) and better. Maybe uscc will get it in 5 years.

Hmmmm....it doesn't look good, but there is still a ray of light. Blackberry claims that they have a work-around for getting e-mail to their users of the injunction holds.
