Bad news for Alejandro.....

I realized last night that by switching to Alltel next Monday - when they start selling the Razr -- I would not only be going from 1,000 anytime minutes to 700, but I would also be losing my Call Me Minutes. So, with Alltel I'd get 700 minutes for $39.99. With USCC I get 1,000 PLUS unlimited Call Me. So I'm sticking with USCC. All I can say is "Hey phone testers, do your freaking job and release the Goll Danm thing." NOW. It would be a shame to have to see a "Days Turn Into Weeks..." column in 3 months from now for the USCC Razr. Here's a tip for you testers. Holidays = Big $$$$.

1. Agreed that its in USCC's interest to get it out for the holidays especially when Verizona and Alltel will be selling it. So, that's my logic as to why USCC will be selling it, too.

I personally think the phone is a fragile toy. I agree it would be in USCC's interest to get out by the holidays from a sales prospective, but I'd like to see how many customers will be going into USCC's stores with half of their phone in each hand after the holidays (like customers with GSM carriers do with their RAZRs).
The only point I'm making is that nobody on this forum has known about this phone for more than a couple of weeks and we're already hearing "Why doesn't USCC have it yet." Everyone should know by that USCC has never been quick to bring a phone to the market, so lets wait more than a few weeks before we start complaining.

Lots of people have known about this phone. Lots. It has not been a secret.
But, I agree with you that we should not be complaining at this point. If USCC gets it out for the holidays, then there will be no reason to complain.

Uscc doesn't even plan to have the phone available until around Jan 2006. They have personal testers as well as friendly user trials before releasing to the public.
