Kyocera SOHO

Hello Everyone, Around August my mother and I both purchased new cell phones and updated our contracts as the TDMA service just wasn't up to par any longer. She opted for the SOHO and I for the Vx6100. I love the 6100 she on the other hand is not thrilled with the SOHO as it seems every call she makes or recieves the person on the other end is slurred and broken up even in areas where reception should be flawless. Anytime I call her she just keeps asking me to repeat myself as she cannot make out anything im saying. She has tried the speaker phone and headset with no change in call quality. I searched the forum and found a report about this from one reviewer and about a shotty chip being used ? My question is will she be required to buy a ne...

send it out for repair, get an "ok" loaner and wait 6 weeks. That is not normal for any phone.
