By bringing Silicon Valley zeal to a moribund Midwest tech giant, Motorola Chief Executive Ed Zander has helped spark a turnaround in the company. Sales have surged nearly 60% to around $37 billion, and Motorola shares are up 37% this year. The company’s ultra-sleek Razr phone has become a “gotta-have” tech gadget.
