Assigning ringtones to contacts on 6255
I just downloaded a bunch of ringtones from easyedge and now found out you cant assign those to your contacts. You can assign them to the caller groups but cant assign them to specific contacts. So i just wasted $30.00 for nothing. You would think this phone could at least do that

call customer service and we will give you a credit. this is a known issue w/ the 6255i. Sorry!

Yeah its a pretty good phone. The menu is a little different. I'm use to the LG phones. The only other pain is deleting text messages.

i want to get that one and i have only had nokias since i have had cell service for about 10 years. Nokias are very reliable but yeah, i am biased. I work in the call center and we get $150 subsidy to use on a new fone every 2yrs so i just cant afford a $300 toy right now. Isnt there a delete all message under your message settings to get rid of them all at once...maybe the manual will be more help than me though! 🙂

yeah there is a delete all, but then it goes to a different screen that shows inbox, sent items, outbox, drafts, and archive and you have to check the boxes next to each one. Its rather annoying.

oic ...well that is pretty minor though. do you like the phone so far. i know people were going nuts for it but then we released the razr this weekend and it was pure insanity!! 😲
