razr v3
i got the new razr yesterday after having the lg vx 6000 for the past year and a half and i loved that phone. anyway after getting the new phone i have some doubts and am considering changing it to the nokia 6255i. but before i do that i wanted to know if there was any way to have a mp3 ringtone on the razr and if you could download new skins for the phone and how. any help would be appreciated i just signed a two year contract so i don't want to regret my choice...

I prefer the 6255i. I myself have had lg phones forever and i am pretty happy with the 6255i. It is a little bulkier than the razr but i think it is better.

You can have mp3s as your ringtones for the V3c. However you can't for the 6255i (One the few things I'm dissapointed with in mine).

the razr has 3 color scheme settings, i forgot what they were called, but like desktop themes, they changed how the UI looked.

You need Mobile phone tools for the mp3's you can get it from ebay or any us cellular location in a store prepare to pay 59.99 for it off ebay you can get it for about 16 dollars shipped. you just half to check out howar forums for the skins, with MPT (mobile pone tools) you can pull mp3's off and download site i.e. lime wire, kazza or you can evn pul songs off cd's

DONT GO TO THE 6255i. You will regret it. I carried it for two weeks, the hinge cracked, you cant have different downloaded ringtones for each contact. You can how ever get around this by setting groups...but you can only set so many groups.
I back LG 110% I carried the 6000 then the 6100 and loved them both. I am not and have never been a fan of Motorola, primarily because of the way they navigate and the charge ports. I recently got the Razr, one for the size, two because it has a different usb like charge port. I like it alot.
Sounds like you use your phone similarly to me...you wont be happy with the 6255i.

From what Basia20 had said they were wanting to do with the phone and how they were planing to use it, they would have encountered the same problems I encountered. It would not be a good fit.
