I got the 6255 last month and was supposed to get a free bluetooth headset. I filled out all the paperwork and sent it in. I went to www.nokiapromos.com to check the status and they can't find it. It gives you a number to call and of course its not even a number to nokia. They also say to email them but i haven't heard a reply back and it been 2 weeks. So should i assume that i wont get it?

keep trying, i always think outsourced stuff like our old rebate company get paid more if they mess up the transaction, don't get too pissed over it, just keep asking.

It was a promo that was run based on your local market..not all markets ran it, and it only lasted for about 5 days...we didnt sell any in those 5 days, so i dont know what to do in that situation..its an awesome phone tho 😁 much much better than the digital only razr if u ask me!

well at least you acknowledge that the promo even existed. nokia wont even say that it did. customer relations pretty much said its not their problem either.

I got the phone during the promo myself. That website is useless. I kept a copy of the rebate form because I had to do a swap. My original 6255 was defective. So I kept a spare in case they threw a fit. However. The number on the rebate form will actually get you to a person. And rather quickly if I remember right.
That number is:1-800-436-6394
Give them a call. I think the guy I talked too said something along the lines of, 'Well if it hasn't been more than eight weeks since you've sent it then we don't have an record of it.' He didn't really try. Maybe you'll get someone nicer.

They told me to report back to the store to get another copy of the rebate form and I AM THE STORE, i told them the offer ended long ago and the forms are gone. They pretty much said i am screwed.

I might still have a blank form. I got mine but it didnt come from Nokia. I kept calling customer relations and griping bout it and they finally had there marketing manager call me. She said she would look in to it. 2 days later one came to me from USCC not nokia. did you call 1-800-436-6394. that is the number to check the status. let me know what you find out. maybe its a conspiracy

OKay sorry to keep replying to this but it got me all fired up. I am mad that it just didnt happen to me and now i wonder how many customers are having this happen. I wrote a very unhappy email to Nokia and hope that they reply, i threatened to stop selling the two models of nokia i have out of my store unless someone tried to resolve this issue.
